Redmond 2828 is one of the thousands of clubs within Toastmasters International,
a worldwide, self-paced, non-profit organization for public speaking and
leadership.
However, if you think we are "just another Toastmasters club", think
again!
We were the District 2's
Inspirational Club of the Year
2001!
We still hold the District 2 record for being
President's Distinguished Club (the
highest
rating by Toastmasters International)
for consecutive years,
since the DCP Program was established in 1999 to the
present.
Members of Redmond 2828 consistently serve the District 2 Toastmasters in many
capacities and successfully participate in several public speaking contests.
We are not
super speakers, either.
We are a friendly, culturally and professionally diverse, fun-loving group
of "shy" people who are trying really hard to improve our public speaking and
leadership skills!
Our membership is open for everyone. Guests are always welcome.
Our meeting time and location make Redmond 2828 the ideal Toastmasters club for
people living on the Eastside of Lake Washington (Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland,
Issaquah, Sammamish), Mercer Island, Renton and even Seattle. If you wish to
fine-tune your public speaking skills or to overcome any
fears of public speaking, Redmond 2828 is the right place.
